E-Cigarettes And The Money You Save With Them

Saving money is at the forefront of everybody's mind in the economy and its current state. Therefor saving money is at the forefront of the minds of many smokers. Smoking is one of the most money consuming habits that is out there, and with good reason. With the cost of cigarettes rising like clockwork, it makes sense that many smokers are trying to find lest costly ways to feed their nicotine addiction. It just so happens that the solution may be simpler than most would think. Many smokers would find that they can save money by simply switching over to the electronic cigarette.

The electronic cigarette is a device that allows the smoker to receive their nicotine fix, without all of the tar. It does so by using a liquid vapor instead of a smoke that is filled with tar particles. That in of itself is a money saver. It eliminates the need to light the cigarette, which means that you do not have to purchase lighter after lighter that you would only end up losing in the cushions in your couch, or between seats in your car.

This also means that you can cut out the cost of buying ash trays that scatter ashes throughout your house, and cause you to have to buy more cleaning chemicals. Speaking of cleaning chemicals, switching over to the electronic cigarette is a good way to save money on air fresheners and laundry detergent.

When you smoke, the smoke and tar particles seep their way into your clothes, and cause them to stink. It also causes the air around you to stink, and this creates an unpleasant odor for anyone else in the vicinity. However, the vapor from electronic cigarettes is almost completely odorless, so you do not have to wash your clothes as often, and you do not have to keep in constant supply of air fresheners.

Another cost that you no longer have to worry about is, well, buying cigarettes in general. You only need one electronic cigarette and that is it. Granted, you do have to buy e-liquid cartridges, but the cost ratio of cartridges to cigarettes clearly is in favor of the cartridges due to the fact that e-liquid satisfies the nicotine craving more quickly, which means you use it less than you would cigarettes, meaning that your dollar lasts longer. So now that you know of the financial benefits, what do you think? Is the Electronic Cigarette the right choice for you?

Smoking Is One Time You Should Be A Quitter

By: Jonah Jameson

There are a large number of tasks that people consider almost impossible. Whether it is climbing Mount Everest, or swimming the length of a river, one of the most difficult tasks for a person to go through is quitting smoking. Quitting smoking is difficult for a large number of reasons. Aside from the nicotine addiction, it is hard for a smoker to get out of the mindset of smoking.

They have been smoking for so long that not only does their body crave a cigarette, but they themselves legitimately want to smoke. If you have been thinking of quitting for a long time, here are some tips that should make it at least a little bit easier on you as you try to kick the habit once and for all.

The first thing you need to do is take your last pack of cigarettes, and get rid of it. Whether you have to light them on fire, or just simply chuck them into the trash, do what you must to get rid of it. This will help to get you into the mentality that cigarettes are no longer welcome in your life and that you are not a smoker anymore. Shaking yourself out of that mindset requires a great deal of will power, but is worth it.

The next thing you need to keep in mind is that you will most likely backslide and find yourself lighting up. Do not beat yourself up over this. Instead, keep a record of anytime you backslide into smoking, and write down what led to you smoking again. This way you will not how to avoid any future backslides. It is also very important for you to keep yourself constantly motivated to quit. Whether your reason for quitting is your family, your friends, or your health, use them to keep your spirits high and motivation constant. This brings you to the next point, to have someone to hold you accountable on your journey.

Quitting smoking is one of the most difficult exercises of will power a person can take on, so it is obviously not a task that you should completely partake of alone. It is important that you have a non-smoking friend who can hold you accountable. It is not impossible to quit smoking without someone to do this, but someone who can spot when you are sliding into old habits will keep quitting fresh in your mind. It is also a good idea to spend less time with your friends who smoke while they are smoking, and politely ask them to not smoke around you.

How Smoking Can Ruin Your Life

There are so many ways that smoking can completely ruin your life, it isn't funny. When you first start smoking cigarettes, it's about looking cool and being part of the gang, but when you get older and some of these things start to take effect, those are the last two things that you're going to be.

First of all, smoking does a lot of damage to your lungs. The smoke and chemicals in the cigarettes coat the inside of your lungs and turns them black. Some people may think that it's just a figure of speech, but look up some pictures of lungs that came from a smoker's body; they are truly black as soot when they're supposed to be pink and healthy.

Aside from your lungs, smoke also harms your teeth and causes them to turn a sickly yellow color that can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars to have reversed. These are stains and are quite expensive to have treated.

After that, you have to worry about stinking all the time. The smoke from cigarettes floats around and ends up landing in your hair and sticking to your clothing. Removing the smell of smoke from your hair is easy, but removing it from your clothes completely may take a little more effort.

Other than personally stinking, you also have to worry about your home and your vehicle stinking. After years of smoking in your home and in your vehicle, the smoke settles into your upholstery and carpet the same way it does with your hair and clothing. Getting rid of the smoky smell from these two places will be even harder and more expensive, especially if you have to call in a professional to help you get it done. Not only that, but the smoke stains everything it touches and turns it a dirty yellow.

Ashes and cigarette butts are also everywhere and you run the risk of a toddler or a pet trying to eat them. Not many people are aware of this, but cigarette butts are toxic enough to put a baby in the hospital if they ingest only 2 or 3 of them. This is because they absorb the nicotine and other hazardous chemicals that tobacco manufacturers add to cigarettes to keep people using them.

If you really want to be cool and stay a part of the gang long term, quitting cigarettes is the best thing that you could do for your life.

Can Using An E Cigarette Instead Of Tobacco Make Your Food Taste Better?

You can ask anyone that smoked tobacco of any kind for years and then quit and they will likely tell you that their food suddenly began to taste amazing again. The old myth you might have always heard about losing the taste of food when you smoke is entirely true and it is just one of the many other bad things about smoking tobacco. When your mouth and tongue are constantly coated with the tar and smoke residue of tobacco, it dulls your taste buds and food can taste lack luster and plain. This could be one reason that smokers also tend to use more salt and other spices.

There is another myth going around these days concerning the electronic cigarette. Many of the people that used to smoke tobacco and then converted to using the e cigarette are reporting that their food is also tasting a lot better. It might be the fact that there is no tobacco used in the electronic cigarette at all and if it does leave any residue in the mouth it evidently does not hinder your taste buds nearly so much as tobacco smoking.

Aside from helping your food taste better again, e cigarette users also have improvement with the way they smell. Perhaps not with their scent abilities, but with the odor they tend to always have about them when they smoked tobacco. The e cigarette produces no foul odor like tobacco smoke does so the electric cigarette user will not smell like it. The smell of tobacco no longer permeates their body, clothes, hair, breath, home or vehicle. This is a great thing for a former tobacco smoker who always worried if their smell was offensive to others. Now they can use their e cigarette anywhere and how ever often they like with no worry about odor.

The sense of taste and the way you will not smell are both great selling points for the e cigarette , but even those two things are not the main reasons people are buying them. They love the fact they are not having to burn tobacco any longer to be able to get the nicotine they want. They do not have to inhale toxic smoke combined with thousands of chemicals, many of them deadly, and the tar that forms from burning the tobacco either, and most do not care for cigarette filters that are currently on the market. These are the real selling points for the e cigarette. They also find the product cheaper and a lot more convenient to use than smoking tobacco as well.

Judge The E Cigarette Fairly For Once

So many people that are against the sales of electronic cigarette are usually not even smokers themselves. It also has to be understood how many of these people work for or are associated with companies tied to the tobacco industry or the pharmaceutical industry who are being directly affected by the current sales of e cigarettes and their potential to become an even more popular product. It seems to be fine that those who manufacture and sell nicotine patches, gum and inhalers can distribute products that contain nicotine and show a relatively low success rate for those that have used the products to quit. People buy these products expecting a miracle to help them stop smoking, but the vast majority of them do not end up quitting and there are studies that back this up.

So, what happens when people by the thousands and thousands buy these stop smoking products that have nicotine in them and do not end up quitting smoking? Why, the companies that make them makes tons of money and the users have still been exposed to the nicotine in the products, but still end up going back to smoking tobacco anyway. Of course, anyone with any sense at all can understand why the tobacco companies would be totally against a product that they are not manufacturing that does not contain tobacco because if all smokers switched to electronic cigarettes, it would tremendously cut into their sales. Can you begin to understand why so many of these people would be against the e cigarette? It is not hard to figure out.

The few tests that have been conducted by the FDA have only shown a few problems with only a couple of brands and out of those brands only one or two showed anything bad. Even the bad that was found in one or two of the e-cigarettes tested was nothing that is not already found in tobacco, but you were not told that part of the equation. Once again, this test only showed one or two small issues out of a couple of brands. Of course, we were also not told of all of the bad things they did not find in the e cigarette that can be found in tobacco. Why did they not conduct a much broader test of e cigarettes so they could make a more in depth study? They would probably have been able to report that in the electric cigarette nicotine liquid there were no traces of arson, benzene, formaldehyde, cyanide or many of the other deadly chemicals found in tobacco. Why were people not told these very important facts as well? It might have made the e cigarette look too good.

They might have also at the same time conducted a new and more honest study of the percentage of smokers that use the nicotine patches, gum, inhalers and stop smoking pills, which have several potentially deadly side affects by the way, to show how unhelpful these products really have been to the millions of people that have bought and paid for them for weeks at a time and were totally disappointed with their results. You would be astounded to know how low the success rate actually is for these products. Yet these products are still legal to be sold as viable stop smoking aids ands tobacco of course is not likely to ever be outlawed.

The truth about the electronic cigarette is that it is not marketed at a stop smoking aid, but as an alternative to smoking tobacco. So, if tobacco can still be sold to those addicted to nicotine, why can people not choose the electric cigarette instead as their preferred way to get nicotine? If the nicotine patches, gum, inhalers and stop smoking pills do not work very well at all and are still legal to be sold and are not that effective in helping most people quit anyway, why can a person not choose to use and continue to use an electric cigarette if they want to? You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out why some special interests groups would love to see the electric cigarette disappear all together.
